Great headset at a great price. Less clamping force than the Zulu 3s which may or may not be your thing. I prefer more clamping. Noise reduction is only very slightly less with the Sierra vs Zulu 3. Sierras are most of the Zulu 3 at much less money.

I gave it a 5 because of the value compared to more expensive sets out there. They are just a little bulky looking (only reason I almost rated them a 4) but neither the wife or I notice it wearing them and we wear them all day sometimes! IMO theyre superior to the David Clarks that are a few hundred dollars more. Ear cups very comfortable and soft. Isnt painful putting them on when its 30 degrees:=)) Battery life seems to better than advertised!

LIGHTSPEED SIERRA! the best value headset out there. For the price and what the ANR does theres no competition. I already have the Zulu 3 which is an another excellent head set for the money. I purchased the Sierra for my passenger. I made a research between the Zulu 3 and booze. Zulu 3 came up on top. As far as ANR I dont see any difference. Price? HUGE difference. The control unit is smarter and easier to use and customer service is the winner. I called both just to see what I would get. booze send me to india customer disservice. Zulu 3 a real person in the USA attended and told me exactly what warranty is and what I would have to do if my headset goes bad. Yea! Winner! American company with american values!

Bought both the Zulu and the Sierra. I am a 6â 3â male and fly a Piper Archer on 2-4 hour flights. I have plenty of headroom in the Archer when wearing the Sierra headset. I have worn both the Zulu and the Sierra. Both are incredible as far as noise canceling and hearing radio calls. I have not had to connect to a phone via Bluetooth. Personally, while wearing plastic framed wrap-around sunglasses, the Sierra headset is more comfortable to me than the Zulu, but both are so much better than my previous passive headsets.

The mic arm connection at the ear phone are not very tight so the mic arm continually falls down so the mic will not stay up at your mouth when you need to speak into it. I have this same problem on both sets I just bought.

Decent value. if you are not wearing a headset 8 hours a day you should look at this headset. As a general aviation pilot with 4 hour IFR missions couple of times a month I found this as a good deal especially with a $250 rebate from aircraft spruce on a old DC headset trade in.

At the beginning the sensitivity of the microphone was not enough so I had to place it too close to my mouth. Then after looking at some reviews here, I adjusted it with a small screw driver and it works just fine. The product works very well and overall very happy.

Totally amazed with the Sierra headset. Extremely comfortable, Love the stereo sound through blue tooth or hard wire cord. Clear phone calls. The only draw back I am used to hearing my engine for change of sounds during different phases of flight or when leaning, I now have to really on feel. Great value for the price.
