One of the snap on buttons came off the helmet upon first use.The maker/seller does not let you know if the helmet is fit to use with Bose or Light speed zulu headsets, when it would take them 5 minutes to determine. Bad.

Form & fit excellent for my head and DC10-13.4 headset. Not crazy about the color.

Helmet will not work with the H10 headset as advertised. I doubt it will work with any of the newer headsets with large ear cushions.

Our 10 pilots of our Spraying Company use the David Clark Helmet, since the cabin of the Piper Pawnee is very narrow, is the only FAA aproved helmet thats fits.

Excellent thanks very much

A major PIA to install Dave Clark headsets in this helmet

I was given this so I have no investment but I figured I would give it a try. I was surprised how comfortable it was (once I got it adjusted), and how much quieter than with just the open headset. A little finicky to get together. I will continue using it. If I can get my lightspeed zulu into it, it will become regular kit.

Originally got it for my ultralight setup but tested it in my Citabria training and it was quite comfortable. The DC headset fit well. Its a great setup for my needs.

Comfortable fit. Needed to go on line for assembly instructions. Using helmet with the DC one-X.. The top two snap straps are too short to capture the metal band of the headset. After several tries I gave up and only use one. The perimeter snaps work well.

I like these, however the instruction could be a little better.

While the helmet is made of high-quality materials, I spend over one hour in total frustration trying to follow the instructions to assemble this product. I found It extremely difficult to do so. Even now, I am not sure if I did it correctly and that the ear cushions will actually stay attached. The directions indicated not to do a particular thing that made continuing assembling completely impossible. While I had thought that having a helmet of the same quality and function as is industry recognized for Dave Clark headsets, I think now I made a mistake with this helmet. This is a project in need of detailed uTube videos to understand. I do not recommend this item at all.

The usual DC helmet that has been around forever. Bit fiddly to install the headset, but once is in, its fine.

By far the least expensive way into a quality head protection system…. Just add your DCs and a flip up visor!
Daniel J –
Well, it was outrageously expensive, thats why I gave it 1 star, but the chin strap made my headphones get a more complete seal to make the noise canceling work, my glasses break the seal, and this chin strap made all the difference…it made a huge improvement in my ability to hear approach control, was it worth it? No, we are getting F**ked in price gauging by clark, but it does work, and it has about a 1/2 inch of padding to protect you in a crash, buy a visor for it, for the setting sun….I look stupid wearing it, but it works well….

Great! no where near as bulky or cumbersome as i was fearing. fits well with easy and lightweight movement in the cockpit
